Project Thursday: A Friend From Maine

Last summer we took a trip to Maine. We went to visit family, and also to explore while getting some nice video/photos. We are still working on going through all of the photos we took while we were there, and this is just one of many. While out one morning, this little fellow was hanging out on a tree. It had been raining, and apparently this was an ideal time for him to make an appearance.

This image was retouched in Photoshop CC. The color was corrected (it was too yellow), the contrast was brought up a bit to help our slug friend stand out in the image, we brought up the saturation of our slimy friend, made some more color adjustments to the whole image, sharpened up the little guy a bit, brightened the photo slightly, and voila this is the result we came to. This is a favorite image because we were able to make it vibrant and fun.
