Top Secret Project {Light Painting Photography}
We're finally ready to let you all in on what the "top secret" project is that you've heard so much about on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The project we're so excited about is that we are working with the Air Mobility Command (AMC) Museum in Dover, DE to light paint all of the aircraft that they have on display. We got the idea for this project several months back, and we didn't really start talking seriously with them about it until about a month ago. After showing them some of our work, they began to get pretty excited about this opportunity with us. The details of some of the problems we've had to troubleshoot, how we got access to the AMC Museum after hours, as well as many other things will be in a video we plan to release soon. We'll be glad to answer questions, so if you have any for us then we'll answer them for you in the video. Questions can be sent to our email via the contact form on our website, or through our Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/RedstreamDigital.
We have a lot of work to do there still, but our first night went pretty well. We had some bumps that night, but we did get some nice photos. The above image is the finished version of the Huey that the AMC Museum has on display. It was so peaceful that night... Until the bugs started attacking. We went back out there the next day and found a car show of 300 or more cars all around the aircraft. The photo below is a cell phone photo of our son beside the Huey during the car show.
There's so much more to come from this project. If you're interested in knowing all the details about it, and are curious as to how we got access to the grounds at night the video we will release soon will be full of all that cool info. Plus, we will be periodically posting photos from this project on the blog. For behind the scenes photos for future portions of this project as well as others you can follow us on Instagram at @redstreamdigital.
We encourage everyone to head out to the AMC Museum. They have some excellent aircraft out there and tons of U.S. history. Plus, if you haven't had a chance to see the C-5 yet it's something you shouldn't miss.
