Manoa Falls

We have been talking about going out to see a waterfall for probably more than a month now, but we had other time sensitive projects that needed to be completed first before we could head out to do something fun. Now that they're squared away, we decided to head out to Manoa Falls this past Saturday. It was time to get out to do something fun as a family and, of course, to get some new photos and video. The kids were excited to get out as usual, and Colin had his camera out taking photos while we were there. Overall, the hike was good. It is only about 0.8 miles long and it's an easy trail to handle. The rocks toward the end (close to the waterfall) are a bit on the slippery side, but they weren't too bad. We discovered that there are actually several trails around that area, so we will be going back to hike some of those. This is another one of those hikes that is well worth the effort. The waterfall at the end is roughly 100ft tall and is very beautiful. The trail is surrounded by a lot of lush green plants as well as some flowers. It's part of a rainforest, so everything is very beautiful and healthy along the trail. We actually made it out of this hike without someone getting hurt. A funny fact is that since we've gotten to Hawaii, we have been having small accidents just about every time we go out on a trip somewhere. It has only been very minor injuries thankfully, but we managed to escape this trip to Manoa Falls without any mishaps. Haha!

New Vlog

We have been promising a vlog for a while now. I think we've been promising that for about a year? Things have just been really crazy and we haven't really been sure what to vlog about. There's a lot of things we could talk about, but we want it to be more than just a Q&A session. Now that things have settled down with this move, and we have our new 4K cameras we are filming just about everything. We actually shot a vlog for this trip to Manoa Falls. I have to say that I think we can improve greatly on our vlogs, but with this being our first one I'm just glad to have gotten one filmed. It's odd being in front of the camera. We're used to being behind it and kind of hiding away there, but we aren't going to be doing that much longer. Here soon the vlog from this trip should be released, and we will be super stoked to share it with you all. We want to bring more interesting content to you, so hopefully with doing a few more of these we'll be able to provide that to you all.

Fine Art Store

We've talked about our Fine Art Store several times before, but I'm bringing it up again because these images can be purchased there. We truly love what we do. It takes money to keep going and to provide you all with awesome images and soon some very cool 4K videos. Any support we get from you through our Fine Art Store means so much to us. It helps keep us going. We literally spend that money directly on new gear or to afford new trips eventually to other islands in Hawaii as well as to Alaska, Washington, etc. We truly appreciate any support you can give us by loving our art. In return, you will get a beautiful image to hang on your wall in your home or office. They also make great gifts! To check out our other artwork and the images above, you can click on the button below and it will take you there. Mahalo (thank you)!
