Getting away from all the distractions of electronics, everyday life, etc. is always a good thing. The kids enjoy it just as much as we do. We were able to get out one morning recently and got this amazing photo of the lake, mountains, and clouds. You can even see fish in the lake. It was so peaceful to get out of the house away from distractions. When we are home, the kids are usually playing video games or watching TV. They get their time outside, but it's not every day that we see things like this. It was truly special to share it with them.
