Snorkeling in Kailua Hawaii Vlog | Episode 3
This has been coming…
Well, good intentions sometimes get derailed because life gets in the way. Starting a vlog is something I’ve been promising for so long and released 2 episodes before things took a turn and I had to start focusing on my full-time day job. I’ve spent the better part of 2 years climbing the corporate ladder working towards promotions just trying to make headway on student loans that I needed to start paying on. I have been killing myself daily for my job. I have no lack of motivation when I set my sights on a goal. I know I am speaking to many others who can relate to this daily grind.
Then COVID-19 Happened…
Honestly, right before Hawaii shut down due to coronavirus, I started really feeling like something was missing. The more I thought about what was missing, the more I realized I was very much missing my work with Redstream and I had a strong desire to start working on it again. One day, about 2 weeks before Hawaii shut down, I received a text message from my landlord saying that he needed to move back into the house I rented. Moving was not ideal, but fortunately, I had the money saved up to make it happen. I was lucky enough to find a house for rent that kept the kids in the same school they were attending, and the awesome part was that it had enough space for an office/studio for me. This is something I have needed pretty badly and was blessed enough to be able to rent the place. I really hoped I would find a place with this extra space so I could have my own workspace that was not in the living room with the kids watching TV or playing video games. This is the perfect example of turning lemons to lemonade.
I’m Back!
I have posted a bit on Facebook and Instagram about returning back to Redstream. I have a lot of things I am working on, but I was able to film a short vlog this past weekend. My goal is to keep a regular cadence with this. I have recently acquired new equipment that will update things a bit technology-wise, and I have some great projects in mind. One more thing, in the past, I have kept Redstream very business-like, but it is a small business. I feel like you should get to know me for who I am and be able to see my personality shine through the Redstream Digital name. I want Redstream to be friendly and more relatable for everyone, especially with some of the projects I have in mind. Things are moving forward in a good way. I hope you stay tuned for these changes and enjoy the journey with me.
