A Night In The Hills: Hocking Hills {Light Painting Photography}

The last couple of days we spent at a very peaceful cabin at Hocking Hills in Ohio. It is so beautiful there, and we saw the opportunity to take an incredible light painting photo with a gazebo near our cabin. The night was warm with a cool breeze. There were some deer down in the valley near us, and it was the perfect night to do this photo. We left the cabin around midnight, and walked down to the gazebo for photos. We set everything up and took several photos until we got what we needed for this image below. The gazebo was not lit at all, so the light seen here is produced by our light. Everything was pitch black except the stars in the sky. It took a long while to get the photos we needed, and we even experimented with different ideas for this photo. By the time we made it back to our cabin it was 3:00am. This of course was after we were freaked out by one of the deer in the valley snorting. Haha. We had fun though, and this is what came of our late night.
