Fun In The Mountains

We’ve been out exploring Oahu a bit, and one of the places we’ve been wanting to go check out would be the mountains. The first time we made a trip to Kaneohe, we were in awe of the mountains and how green everything was. On the way back to Waikiki where our hotel was, we found a place called Pali Lookout. We weren’t in a hurry to get back, so we stopped and discovered this beautiful spot where you can look out from nearly the top of a mountain over the town below and see the ocean. It was pretty amazing.

The image above was taken at some point during this stop. It’s one of our HDR images, and I really like it because it brings out the texture in the rock on the mountain. Below you can see the highway as well as some structures. It was a cloudy day, but it really illustrated how the mountains surpass the clouds more often than not. This place was beautiful and I’m sure we’re going to make a trip back. There's other photos we have to share from this trip, but I thought this one was pretty special and couldn't wait to share it.
